Rev. Roy E. Fowler, Pastor

      Greetings From Our First Lady              Sister Lynette Fowler
Rev. Roy E. Fowler is a native of Emerson, GA. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rexie Fowler of Cartersville, GA.

He graduated from the Bartow County School System in Cartersville, GA.
He graduated from Cobb Area Vocational Tech, Marietta, GA. Upon his call to the ministry, he studied at Carver Bible College, Atlanta, GA, receiving numerous awards from Carver during his studies. Upon graduating he continued his education at Southwest Bible College and Seminary.

In 1990, the Lord called him into the ministry to preach the gospel. In 1992, he was called to pastor Damascus Missionary Baptist Church, Emerson, GA, his home church, where he has served faithfully for 20 plus years. Under his leadership as pastor, many ministries have evolved to promote fellowship and unity. His goals and objectives are commitment to the teaching and doing of God’s Word, true love that is a result of our relationship to the risen Christ, sincere worship of Spirit and Truth, reaching out to hurting humanity, and everyone holding up their end in kingdom building. He is also the founder of Word Alive Ministries, International, a mission outreach ministry to help those in need, locally as well as internationally. He has served as 1st Vice Moderator, 
Dean of Christian Education, and Instructor in the Kennesaw Missionary Baptist Association.

Rev. Fowler and his wife Lynette, share the joys of parenthood and the raising of three sons, Joshua, Daniel, and Matthew and they presently reside in Kennesaw, GA.
